Saenger Theatre, in Pensacola, Florida, will be hosting a performance titled “A Drag Queen Christmas,” where men, cross-dressing in often hyper-sexualized costumes, perform in lewd and suggestive shows. What makes this news particularly disturbing is the fact that the City of Pensacola owns Saenger Theatre – and did nothing to stop the event, despite local opposition to the drag acts.

Drag queen performances are immoral by their very nature. But the most egregious aspect of this instance is that it is done in the name of “Christmas,” and is scheduled two days before the holiday. To put this in perspective, it is two days from the time where Christians everywhere celebrate the birth of Christ and His Coming to redeem mankind from sin. In short, this drag queen performance dishonors the season by promoting sin and immorality. According to reports:

” ‘A Drag Queen Christmas‘ is set to come to the Saengar [sic] Theatre on Dec. 23, and has been the source of outrage in conservative Pensacola circles since it was first highlighted in an article by Zack Smith on the conservative news and commentary website The Daily Signal…

“The 2022 tour of the show…drew criticism with graphic depictions of nudity while being marketed as an ‘all ages show’ and even a threat from Gov. Ron DeSantis…”

After the above 2022 incident, the show was forced to put an age limit to those who entered. But this cannot distract from the fact of just how grave this blasphemous event truly is. No city should want to have anything to do with such people.

Drag queens have become the latest front in the cultural war to push the sexual revolution on society, going so far as to target children. In fact, within the last ten years, drag queens have become an unmistakable symbol of the sexual revolution in the following ways:

• They are a means to normalize cross-dressing;
• They are popularized to push the sexual revolution on children with events like the “Drag Queen Story Hours,” and even “Christmas” events, as the 2022 event shows;
• They seek to desensitize people to the ugly face of “transgender” ideology;

With all of this, the City of Pensacola should immediately distance itself from this perverse group that represents so much sexual deviancy and the destruction of children’s innocence.

Let us not let down our guard, but defend Christmas and society against such immorality. Please sign our petition to the City of Pensacola and Saenger Theatre, demanding the immediate cancellation of this blasphemous and immoral performance.
