We need to remind President Trump to not back down on his previous pro-life commitments.

On September 30, the Trump Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently approved a new “generic” (i.e., off-brand) abortion pill, which imitates Mifeprex, the mifepristone pill used for abortion.

What makes this action particularly shocking is that it comes just after Trump’s FDA began an investigation of the dangers associated with the same abortion drug. This could mean that potentially millions of pre-born American citizens could be brutally cut off from life! According to reports:

“The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved a new version of the abortion pill, in stark contradiction to the Trump administration’s promises of a more critical approach to abortion drugs.

“Reuters reports that the FDA approved generic mifepristone tablets [an abortion pill], manufactured by Evita Solution and sold with the help of GenBioPro. Evita’s stated mission is to ‘normalize abortion’ and make it ‘accessible to all.’

“Approving a generic as ‘bioequivalent and therapeutically equivalent to’ Mifeprex does not technically preclude such a review from eventually pulling both from the market in the future but makes abortion pills more available and affordable in the interim, rather than the bare minimum pro-lifers would have expected of suspending all such approvals until a conclusion was reached about the original.”

The abortion pill has become the new front of the pro-life battlefield, and there is a fight within pro-life states to restrict or ban it. Widening the market for the abortion pill will only make pro-life efforts more difficult and put more unborn lives at danger, especially since the drug will be easier to obtain.

America cannot become great so long as it is not aligned with God and His commandments.

Deliberately destroying innocent human lives — each one of which possesses His own Image and Likeness — is a sin that cries out to Heaven for vengeance.

Our country is faced with enough problems as it is. The continuous shedding of innocent blood can only be a stain that will be difficult for our nation to erase.

Dear Mr. President,

I am concerned with the recent actions from your administration authorizing abortion pills. The Food and Drug Administration approved of a generic abortion pill on September 30.

Reports state that abortion pills caused the death of over one million pre-born children in 2023 alone. This number will only increase if the drug becomes more readily available.

As the leader of the United States, you must seek the well-being of all our citizens, born and unborn. Most importantly, abortion offends God, Who will withhold blessings from a nation which deliberately destroys innocent life.
