You might have heard the news that Boise, Idaho recently made the homosexual “pride” flag an official flag of the City of Boise. Here’s what happened: a new law in Boise decreed that only officially sanctioned flags could be flown from the capitol’s flagpoles. This was done to prevent the homosexual rainbow flag from flying on state property. Because no one wants their state to push sin.
But, this did not stop one legislator from making it a point to force homosexual sin into the public. Council President Colin Nash pushed a bill — that passed 5 to 1 — to make the homosexual “pride” flag an official flag of the City of Boise. According to reports:
“On Tuesday [May 6, 2025], Boise City Council members approved a resolution designating three flags, including the Pride flag, as official flags of the City of Trees…
“Council President Colin Nash, who sponsored the resolution, said it would help ‘memorialize’ flags the city flies and ensure compliance with state law.”

Some might wonder why this is important — after all, Boise is a capitol city, which are usually liberal anyway. But keep in mind that Idaho is considered a conservative state. If this type of legislation — forcing people to accept homosexual sin — goes unchallenged, we know that this become a trend that reaches beyond Boise.
This is a statement that homosexual sin is not only going to be improved by the government, but remain as an official item that all are obliged to respect.
That’s why we need to act — to nip this problem in the bud. In fact, the same thing already happened in other cities — Salt Lake City and Missoula, Minnesota.
Who’s to say that your next local city won’t be next on the list? That might be the case, if we don’t take action.
