On November 12, America Needs Fatima’s Rosary Rally Captains mobilized to beseech Saint Michael to intercede for law enforcement officers. The result was over 1,100 Rosary rallies nationwide. The Rally Captains report both much public support and appreciation from the police.

The promotion of Public Square Rosary Rallies is a special project of the America Needs Fatima campaign. It seeks to bring the Fatima message to the public with monthly Rosary rallies for special intentions. The November effort sought to support the police with the banner saying Saint Michael, protect our police so they can protect us.

Whether attended by eight people in Algonac, Michigan or 26 people in Canon City, Colorado, the rallies sought to encourage law enforcement when police are often unjustly attacked.

In December, Rosary Rally Captains all across America will be praying to Keep Christ in Christmas. If you would like to lead a rosary rally to Keep Christ In Christmas, you can sign up HERE!

At many rallies, passing police officers would be surprised by the unexpected support. They would thank the prayer warriors profusely. They do not often see such support, especially in these chaotic times. They were also heartened to see rally members invoke Saint Michael the Archangel, a special patron of policemen.

The praying of the Rosary in the public square has a remarkable impact. One never knows how many souls are touched by the scene. Hundreds and even thousands of people can see a rally at a busy street corner. America Needs Fatima has been holding these rallies since 2008. This year the October event commemorating Fatima’s Miracle of the Sun was blessed with 21,455 rallies nationwide.

Pamela from Romulus, Michigan, reported that “There were 17 people praying, and our pastor was there to give a little talk about the importance of the Rosary. He then gave us a blessing.”

The locations of the Rosary Rallies vary. Some pick busy intersections. Others prefer two squares, parks and nearby attractions. Rallies at abortion clinics are also important sites of protest and prayers. Regardless of the chosen place, all are meant to be a public witness to the need for prayer to solve America’s problems.

“What started as a small project many years ago has ballooned into the most numerous public display of the Faith in the country,” said America Need Fatima president Robert Ritchie. “People cannot get enough of praying to Our Lady in public. The rallies keep on growing.”

Each month, Rosary Rally Captains pray for a different intention. America Needs Fatima sends a beautiful banner and an instruction manual to all Captains who sign up.
