Mr_Horvat_Kansas_RTO_2014As part of the campaign to spread the ideas found in the book, Return to Order: From a Frenzied Economy to an Organic Christian Society—Where We’ve Been, How We Got Here, and Where We Need to Go, author John Horvat visited his native Kansas on April 27-30.

On April 27, he addressed the monthly meeting of the Shawnee County Pachyderm Club in Topeka where he spoke about Return to Order. The event gathers together activists and candidates involved in the political and cultural battles affecting all Kansans.

On April 29, nearly seventy people gathered together for the American TFP’s regionalMarch_2014_events_018 conference at Fire Station No. 2 a stone’s throw from the State Capitol Building in Topeka. The former station no longer serves to put out fire but does fire people up when used as a public venue Mr. Horvat did just that when he spoke on the theme: “Honor Thy Father and Thy Mother: the Key to Bringing America Back to Order.” American TFP member Byron Whitcraft delivered a second talk on “The Nine Principles of an Organic Society.” Both talks sparked lively discussions amid refreshments. Television station, KSNT, interviewed Mr. Horvat and featured Return to Order on its nightly new show.

A short talk on April 30 rounded off the weekend in Wichita where Mr. Horvat March_2014_events_067introduced local friends and supporters to his book and discussed issues of economy and moral values. The event ended with questions and answers with plenty of time for conversation.
